Stirling Castle, the Old Town, and Stirling station are all roughly 15 minutes on foot. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth are each under an hour by train.
The flat is on the first floor — no lift. The window handles take a knack: rotate sideways to open, all the way up for a small top vent.
